Masonic Riders Association

The Secretary is appointed by the President and serves as the official record keeper. His duties often involve managing private and confidential information, as well as maintaining the chapter's books and records. The Secretary is responsible for sending and receiving correspondence, issuing notices for meetings, rides, lodge visitations, and other events.
He should closely coordinate with all chapter officers, particularly the Treasurer and the Guardian of Membership, to ensure that all records remain up to date. The Secretary will also prepare and distribute agendas for meetings, keep minutes, and send them to chapter members upon completion.
The Secretary will be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses, provided he submits the relevant receipts. Additionally, the Secretary is one of three signatories authorized for any bank transactions. As a trusted advisor to the President, the Secretary plays a vital role in the chapter's operations.
